This week I finally got to go the 1st time on Tuesday I chickened out and watched my kids do cell 31 on cctv which was fun just to watch and laugh at them. Yesterday I did take part in The House of Frankenstein despite having a broken toe. It was so much fun. The puzzles were hard and you had to think but they were not too hard you couldn't work them out which is a good mixture, The room wasn't very scary but I did jump a few times. It was the atmosphere with the music and sound of chains that made the room creepy but I often think that is more scary than things that actually happen. For the price of £15 per person it really is worth every penny, at the moment they have a special offer on where 1 under 16 is free for every full paying adult. I believe this offer ends at the end of the summer holidays.
From what I understand they change the rooms every quarter with a new room the cottage starting in September which I can't wait for, my oldest son Craig will need some persuading to do the cottage as he is really worried about doing that 1 lol.
On Sunday 30th June they are doing a special room at a local pub for help the heroes, I can't wait to give that a go.I am taking all my kids with me on Sunday as its Craig's 27th Birthday. I will update on Monday
If you are the Southend area or are planning to visit the area I highly recommend you to check out room escape.
